Steering Committee (Japan)

Prof Dr Reiko Kuroda, a chemist and a biologist, is currently a Professor at Chubu University and Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo, Japan. A L’Oréal-UNESCO Women in Science Laureate, Prof Kuroda is also a member of the G7 Gender Equality Advisory Council 2021, a Delegate of the G20 Women 20 Summit 2021, and a Foreign Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.

Prof Kuroda had previously served as the Vice-President of the International Council for Science, Fellow of ISC (International Science Council), a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the UN Secretary General, and a Member of the Council for Science and Technology Policy, Japan.
