CSUCA is a regional organization comprised of 25 of the largest public universities in Central America (in seven countries). The organization conducts regional research and development projects whose outputs are not only addressed to advance knowledge and cooperation but also generate important inputs to government policies. The organization is now redefining a strategy that will comply with such a goal. The organization is led by a General Secretary (at present Dr. Carlos Alvarado Cerezo).
