Organización Panameña Antituberculosa – OPAT
The Pananamanian Antituberculosis Organization- OPAT is a non-profit organization focused on combating tuberculosis in Panama. The members include civil society, health care workers, scientists and policy makers. All of them cooperate together in this organization to defeat tuberculosis implementing strategies based on scientific evidence.
The mission of OPAT is to contribute to the prevention and control of tuberculosis in all its forms at the national level through education, advocacy and advocacy in related areas of public health together with national and international actors to achieve the goals of the end of tuberculosis.
OPAT’s vision is to become a national and international reference in efforts to prevent and combat tuberculosis through education, advocacy and advocacy, also contributing to the implementation of public policies based on evidence and support for people affected by this disease.
